Meghan Markle releases children's book inspired by Archie and Harry's relationship

 The Duchess of Sussex has penned her very first children's book - inspired by husband Prince Harry and their son Archie

The Duchess of Sussex will soon become a published author. Random House Children's Books announced that Meghan Markle has her debut book in the works. The Bench is inspired by her son Archie, who turns two on May 6, and husband Prince Harry's, 36, relationship. The book is scheduled to release on June 8, 2021.


The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born,” Meghan said in the book's press release. “That poem became this story.”

Meghan, who is expecting her second child, acted as a campaign chair of the event to support the global vaccination effort with Prince Harry.

Speaking via a video message, she said: "The past year has been defined by communities coming together tirelessly and heroically to tackle Covid-19. We’ve gathered tonight because the road ahead is getting brighter.
