Why our body still need lots of water
water lovers got a jolt recently when we heard that a new report had found that the benefits of drinking water may have been oversold. Apparently, the old suggestion to drink eight glasses a day was nothing more than a guideline, not based on scientific evidence.
But don't put your water bottle or glass down just yet. While we may not need eight glasses, there are plenty of reasons to drink water. In fact, drinking water (either plain or in the form of other fluids or foods) is essential to your health.
Effective Water Therapy Art
"Think of water as a nutrient your body needs that is present in liquids, plain water, and foods. All of these are essential daily to replace the large amounts of water lost each day," says Joan Koelemay, RD, dietitian for the Beverage Institute, an industry group.
Kaiser Permanente nephrologist Steven Guest, MD, agrees: "Fluid losses occur continuously, from skin evaporation, breathing, urine, and stool, and these losses must be replaced daily for good health," he says.
Water does more than just quench your thirst and regulate your body's temperature; it also keeps the tissues in your body moist. You know how it feels when your eyes, nose, or mouth gets dry? Keeping your body hydrated helps it retain optimum levels of moisture in these sensitive areas, as well as in the blood, bones, and the brain. In addition, water helps protect the spinal cord, and it acts as a lubricant and cushion for your joints. Water Art Therapy
Why do people fall inlove with eachother
There are many factors that go into the chemistry behind attraction and romantic love. A person’s physical appearance is certainly one -- human beings like symmetry as well as specific ratios between facial features. Social status is most certainly another.
SAY I LOVE YOU
This happens because our brains and hormones go wild when faced with a sincere love interest. "When we are in the company of the loved one the brain produces more serotonin, which gives a sense of well-being, more endorphins, which are natural pain killers, and more dopamine, which increases pleasure.
I LOVE U
Not all love is the same. We make a clear distinction between the love for family and friends, and romantic love. Most people can name about nine people in the first category, but only one in the second. Although we may fall in love many times, only a tiny minority put more than one person in that category at any one time. But what binds the two kinds of love is intimacy. Intimacy is how love starts.
Why do we crave for certain types of food
Psychologist Dr. Brian Wansink has found that we make more than 200 food decisions each day but we are unaware of 90% of them.
People tend to get cravings when the brain starts calling for certain foods — often processed foods that aren’t considered healthy or nutritious.
Get healthy now
Even though the conscious mind knows they’re unhealthy, some other part of the brain seems to disagree.
Some people don't experience this and can easily control the types of foods they eat, while others can’t.
A craving is an emotional state characterized by a desire to consume a certain food. It should not be confused with simple hunger, which is different.
Cravings sometimes seem to appear out of thin air.
A person might be doing mundane things like watching a favorite TV show, walking the dog,
or reading. Then suddenly a craving for something like ice cream appears.
Look after your gut
Even though the cravings sometimes seem to come out of nowhere, they can be turned on by certain triggers, which are known as cues.
These cues can be as simple as walking past an ice cream parlor or smelling a pizza.
